One thing that I miss about the midwest is the spectacular fall colors. Here on the coast we don't get seasons so much, but if you look hard enough one can find a big leaf maple tree in the neighbors yard which provides for a good photo shoot!
Not to mention the picturesque covered bridge! :o) Lovely photos...the leaves are just turning here. It looks like we'll get a real fall color show this year, in years past it has gone straight from green to brown. :(
Oh and that covered bridge is what I drive through every day to get to my house. It crosses over a cute little creek that in the winter rages and provides shelter for spawning coho salmon. But I'm not gloating or anything. :)
Oh honey, if you call THAT not having seasons, you need to come visit us! We're still in the 90's during the day and setting heat records daily!!!! :( the pictures are beautiful and make me long for NorCal again! :)

Awesome pics! I especially love the one with the ferns; cool contrast of coat color, leaves, and bright greens!
Ash says, "I'm surrounded! Help!"
If we could teach the buggers how to herd them into garbage bags we'd be billionaires!

I know I took some hilarious video of Ash running in the leaves that day. I'll have to post it to you tube soon. He just thought it was coolest!

Love the pics, and that handsome blue boy!
I'm from Michigan, and live in Oregon now. I always try and visit family back east around Oct so I can be there for the fall colors ;)
